BUG: forgot password

From launch we’ve been a bit bedeviled by troubles with the “forgot password” (reset password) process. One of our customers helped us eliminate one of mistake, but I’m still seeing some log evidence that suggests the process crashes (maybe?) or otherwise fails from time to time.

Unfortunately, whenever I test the mechanism, it works fine! :expressionless:

If anyone can help me reproduce the circumstances that cause the process to break, I would be most grateful. The first problem is identifying the exact moment when it goes wrong. From there, I can hopefully work backward.
