More recently I found that my wine & martini glasses have a fishy like smell even though they come out of the dishwasher fully sanitized. Is tjis a result of the tap wayer, the dishwasher and/or filter itself, or the freezer when I chill the glasses? I read white wine vinegar solution helps, but then will they smell like vinegar? What about baking soda? Any tips/washing solutions would be appreciated.
To answer your question, I need to ask more questions.
1: Does your tap water smell?
2: Does your freezer smell?
3: When was the last time you cleaned out your dishwasher filter?
It could be one or all of those factors but the most likely culprit is your freezer might be holding onto some fishy fragrances owing to it containing frozen fish at some point.
Regarding how to get the smell out, vinegar will do the trick and they won’t smell like vinegar after treating them you wash them out with warm water and dish soap. Dish soap alone normally does a damn good job.

The house/fridge/washer is only about a year old, so while certainly it could be any of those things, I cannot seem to isolate it. It seems to be intermittent. Even tonight they came out of the dishwasher fine, I gave it a smell, no problem, until I kept a glass in the freezer for a few hours. I don’t make ice from the tap/fridge so I never replaced the filter, but perhaps I should. Til then I will try the white vinegar solution - I would think dish soap would leave a scent? Thanks for the reply!
I always use unscented dish soap.
