There’s some writing about it out there. Crème Yvette was a family (Jacquin) product, so in theory, he had access to the recipe. Whether the current product is actually the same as the original product… it’s unclear that even he knew. Too much water under the bridge.

Thanks. @fredyarm tells me this is no longer available and I am lucky to have snagged a bottle. I was quite crestfallen at the moment I tasted this long-awaited treasure and was reminded of Robitussin. It has grown on me some, though it is rather oxidized. I have not yet tried https://www.fleurcharmanteliqueur.com, which seems like an imitator, but I’d appreciate other’s opinions.
