Golden Moon distillery is closing permanently and will only remain open next Wednesday through Saturday for bottle sales. I thought their Picon Amer re-creation was superior and will miss them. Folks close enough to Colorado (@fredyarm) may want to stop by.
I am quite concerned that market cycles are going to deprive us of more of the uncommon-but-valuable ingredients we gained during the Cocktail Renaissance.

I was in Denver the past few days at the USBG national meeting and kept busy with it and had no car rented. I still have Amer Picon and various replicas on my shelves that work in cocktails (although not enough of a supply of some of them to treat myself to the amazing wonder of Picon Beer to upscale a Pilsner.
