I’ve recently found a rough copy of ‘American and Other drinks’ by Charlie Paul. It was printed in London. It has a wealth of information in vogue from the late 1800s.
As my copy is in poor condition and not up to thumbing through for practical use (as I’m sure many are) I was wondering could I use the information within to create a printed book for more practical use (crediting Charlie Paul as author of course)?

Cool! That looks like the 1884 edition (first edition). A PDF of it is available from EUVS here (there’s a download link at the bottom of the viewer page). The book itself is well outside copyright protection, so you should be able to do anything you like with it.
