I thought this might be of interest. It is very rare these days that a new regional drink emerges, particularly one that is widely popular and whose origins we can account for exactly. Cardinal Spirits send me a bottle of the stuff. It ain’t bad.

Interesting. Edrington’s suggested serve for Naked Grouse (their blended Scotch made from Macallan, Highland Park and Glenturret) is a Cherry Cola Highball. Sounds a little like a fancy pants version of this Bloomington drink.
